Esperanza Martínez and your son Johan Alexander Fuquen. Tocancipá, Cundinamarca.
"I
lived in a house made of wood for four years alone with my four children since
their father left us, in the municipality of Tocancipá. As a single mother I
work in a bar to support my family. I was tired of paying rent and leaving my
children with acquaintances where they could not express themselves freely, it
was very humiliating for everyone, but thank God something wonderful happened
to me. The mayor managed RED UNIDOS visit me and this changed our lives, the
RED UNIDOS came to my house and supplied us with bunk beds, dishes and
blankets. We have the mentality that we are poor and that this is a point of no
return but you have to look for strategies to overcome poverty, things will not
come to us when we complain about everything but when looking for better
opportunities and with the help of God and the RED UNIDOS l will get over
poverty so I can offer my children a better future".
